Since then, digital innovations have played a key role in the logistics provider’s development and its international growth. Today, DACHSER’s Corporate IT employs more than 600 people, who harness core services—developed in-house—for transport and warehouse management as well as integrated best-of-breed software products and systems to enhance and provide the digital infrastructure for DACHSER’s groupage logistics services. DACHSER also employs around 270 IT coordinators to attend to the IT systems used at the company’s branches around the world. Security, too, is paramount at DACHSER IT: the company’s core systems and software development are certified to ISO 27001.
