DACHSER expands its capacity in northern China
In October, the logistics provider celebrated the opening of its new offices in Nanjing. The move nearly doubles the floor space of the branch in northern China, better equipping the location for the future.
“The relocation to larger premises shows that DACHSER Nanjing, and our other branches in northern China, will drive forward the long-term development on the market with high-quality services for local and multinational companies,” says Yves Larquemin, Managing Director Air & Sea Logistics Far East North.
Stable growth in Nanjing
Nanjing has posted stable growth over the past seven years. It started out as an office solely for sea freight, but since the rollout of Othello in 2018, it has also been handling air freight shipments. To accommodate the growing workforce and ensure the location is ready for further development in the future, it was necessary to relocate to larger premises.
