DACHSER honored with the Sustainability Excellence Award
US research institution recognizes commitment to sustainability
At the 12th Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit in Long Beach, California, USA, the international logistics provider DACHSER was honored with the Sustainability Excellence Award.
The award was accepted by Daniel Egenter, General Manager West Coast, and Andre Kranke, Head of Corporate Research & Development, who is responsible for all climate protection activities at DACHSER.
“Sustainability is a topic that is also becoming increasingly important in the United States, even if Europe is certainly leading the way here. However, at DACHSER, we already offer our US customers the opportunity to actively reduce CO2 emissions in air and sea freight by using Sustainable Fuels,” says Daniel Egenter.
We are delighted to receive this award, and it underlines our commitment to continue working on climate protection – even if it is a long way full of challenges to achieve the goal of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in logistics

Next to this, DACHSER is researching and testing the complex interaction and use of zero-emission technologies as well as intelligent electricity and load management in so-called e-mobility sites at the branches in Malsch near Karlsruhe, Hamburg and Freiburg.
