DACHSER honors “Logistics Masters” prizewinners at the BVL conference

This year’s BVL International Supply Chain Conference, attended by the who’s who of the industry, has once again been chosen as the venue for this year’s awards ceremony to honor top bachelor’s and master’s students. The conference will take place at the InterContinental Berlin from October 25-27, 2017.

Over 1,400 students from more than 160 universities took part in the Logistics Masters competition launched by DACHSER together with the German trade journal VerkehrsRundschau. Participants put their logistics knowledge to the test by answering 70 questions. In addition to the best bachelor’s and master’s students, the ceremony will also honor the professors from the three winning universities. In addition, the winners receive prize money of 10,000 euros.

The award ceremony, which forms part of the presentation on “Transformation of business models”, will also see Dr. Andreas Froschmayer, Corporate Director Corporate Development, Strategy & PR at DACHSER give a talk on “Integrated business models for Logistics – the next phase of digitalization” (Thursday, October 26, at 2:30 p.m.).

DACHSER will again be hosting a booth at the conference exhibition hall (Hotel: InterContinental, Room: Potsdam II P/01). Focusing on the topic of digitalization, DACHSER will present its service portfolio within its integrated global network and uniform system environment under the slogan “DIGITALLY CONNECTED – OPERATIONALLY EXCELLENT”.

The theme for this year’s International Supply Chain Conference is “Think different – Act digital.” With an average of 3,200 trade visitors, it is one of the most important annual logistics events in Europe and is a central meeting point for the logistics industry.
