DACHSER introduced Air Charter from Frankfurt to Shanghai and vice versa
DACHSER currently operates once a week a full charter aircraft from Frankfurt to Shanghai and vice versa each Sunday/Monday with a capacity of 105t per flight (Boing 747).
Together with DACHSER European Logistics, who organizes the pre-and on- carriage to the European countries, DACHSER is able to demonstrate their existing and new customers an inspiring way of intelligent solutions for their supply chain needs.
This leads to a high customer demand for DACHSER charters
Due to a tight capacity situation on the airfreight market customers appreciate the access to premium capacity with a guaranteed uplift and fixed transit times. Even special commodities (i.e. DGR, temperature controlled goods) and urgent cargo can be transported to whole Europe as well as the North China region. “Our customers will not have to wait for free capacity and we will be better able to satisfy the demand for urgent cargo shipments to various destinations in North China”, says Timo Stroh, Head of Head of Global Airfreight DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics.
This leads to a high customer demand for DACHSER charters. The first rotations have successfully been performed and a positive continuation of the project is expected.
The project will last until the 17th of December 2017.
