Further warning strikes at German ports
Warning strikes were already held at short notice in the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven on June 9, 2022. Further warning strikes will take place at German seaports from Thursday, July 14, 2022 to Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Since no agreement has yet been reached in the collective labor tariff negotiations for German port workers, the trade union ver.di has called for further strikes at Germany's seaports, starting from Thursday, July 14, 2022 (6.00 a.m.) until July 16, 2022 (6.00 a.m.). All major North Sea ports in Germany are affected, most notably the ports in Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven.
During this time, there will be interruptions in terminal handling and the loading and unloading of trucks and trains. Possible unforeseeable delays in the collection and/or delivery of containers may result.
DACHSER will monitor the situation and keep customers informed of further developments. The local contacts at DACHSER's branches will be available to answer any questions.
