Small and big successes: Annual report on partnership with terre des hommes
Improving the living conditions and educational opportunities of disadvantaged children and young people - DACHSER has been supporting the children's charity terre des hommes with this overarching goal since 2005. The 2022 Annual Report provides an overview of the worldwide projects and their concrete successes.
25-year-old Neha lives in Holambi Kalan, Delhi in northern India. Since the death of her mother in December 2020, she has had to help provide for the livelihood of her family of nine. With the support of terre des hommes and DACHSER, she was able to take a computer training course, learn English, and thus find a job as an office assistant. She now has an income and continues to be involved in a youth group.
This is one of many small and big success stories to be reported from the joint projects of DACHSER and terre des hommes. Currently, the cooperation extends to South Asia, southern Africa, Latin America, and, since 2022, Ukraine. The focus is primarily on socially and economically disadvantaged population groups.
The projects are not implemented by terre des hommes employees who travel to the respective countries, but by local project partners who know the local conditions, necessities, and challenges in detail.

DACHSER's support is long-term, with new projects and initiatives being added all the time. What is currently being implemented together and what successes can be reported can be found in the current annual report (see download).
