Update from China: partial lifting of restrictions
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in China, there was an impact on international air freight, sea freight and domestic transportation. These have been partially lifted. The following measures were taken:
- As of Monday, March 21, 2022, the lockdown in Shenzhen and Dongguan has been lifted, with the exception of Shenzhen Futian South Area and some specific residential areas where positive cases have been encountered. The remaining areas in the two cities are resuming normal operations, subject to comprehensive protective measures.
- Factories and warehouses have reopened and production is expected to resume to regular levels gradually.
- DACHSER locations in Shenzhen and Dongguan are operating with their complete office teams and continue to provide reliable services.
- Situation in Shanghai and other major cities remain unchanged, as reported in the previous update.
